Following along on this for sure! When is it getting wet?

So I am open to all advice on plumbing as possible as I have never plumbed a tank myself and multiple tanks together via sump. Each tank will have a return (ecotech m1). Here’s a few pics of the plumbing the guy had on them which is old and I’d like to replace.

I would run the return over the top and make a mini bean animal overflow out of those two holes
Not the best photos but it’s what I have I used the one way check valve like melves on the return got my 3D print guy to make me a cover for the triangle and uses the small 3/4 pipe as the full syphon and the 1 inch as the emergency

It was tough getting it dialed in but once I got the heights of the pipes proper not one problem since
