My tube anemone is my favorite thing in my tank even though he has taken out numerous snails, crabs and 2 fish, he is still my favorite. Sorry if it doesn’t apply to post.

Hi all. My first post. A lovely big healthy mag with a bonded pair of pink skunks. Gorgeous. Could watch it all day. Especially when it looks as cute as this:)

I got mine from WWC on Tuesday. It came in tiny... like the size of a nickel. He's healthy, but smol. You can see it placed itself next to my big BTA that is about 7-8" across.

I received an approx. 5"-6" bright green carpet anemone.. who quicky moved around for a day until finding his 'home'..he grew quickly (amazingly, on a main diet of common moquito large..in fact I experienced an entire stoney coral & anemone growth occurance that was astounding!!.. this particular bright green carpet grew at a near alarming rare..reaching the width of a giant toilet-seat in just a few months...then, really suddenly he began to contract... With what initially appeared as a rapidly increasing 'cut'..from an outer edge to the thing's mouth... Then as quickly as it occured..it began to repair itself.. while simultaneously splitting into (2) healthy, even brighter green carpets!!.. eventually I had 2 toilet-seat size anemones... My 1st time witnessing anything like this..this was1996..at the same time..due to the feeding of these live mosquito large (which appeared outside a coral - live documenting facility I was just finishing...I'd left 2 large 400 gallon tanks outside while drilling drain lines in the bottoms and it rained...finding the mosquito large...I tried them on a suffering goniapora.which miraculously was completely repaired within weeks..the rained of tenatle-ttpe hard car.ols saw 2-4 cm growth a pplpprox.in three week intervals.. as the summer turned cold.. my mosquito supply dimished.. And I began to go back to a vitamin infused krill plankton diet.. well..prospering... But not near as dramatic a show as those creepY MOSXQUITOS!..

No, I'm going to stay away from nems for now at least. I love the Haddoni carpets but they just take too much room. Bubble tips eventually move on me and either sting my corals or get sucked into my vortechs.

Best looking BTA I have ever seen has got to be the “nexus bta”. I have only seen Picts, and if they are as good in person as they are in picts then they are tops in my book!!!

Whoah, those a rad. Unfortunately they come from the Colorado Sunburst line which means they're super expensive.

I want one of these
A5A807EF-A50A-4119-AB8C-9EFD2B4FF657.png

hehe, i've been drooling over this one too, but it's just not in the budget right now. (>__<)'

colorado sunburst is the other one i plan to eventually add to my 180G DT.

i'm curious though ... it seems that BTAs split and multiply like rabbits. i imagine that some hobbyists have more BTAs than they know what to do with. are we eventually looking at a saturated market with so many hobbyist sellers even for the fancy ones?? (i certainly don't mind paying $200 for what used to be a $1500-$2000 nem). ;Greedy
