Just ordered 2 more dmp 40s. Since I had bought 2 previously I asked for a discount and got them for $115 each. Imho, when these new tariffs are implemented they will probably not be worth purchasing. I just wanted to have a few spares. I can use one of the wet sides to swap out for cleanings.

How far do the dry sides stick out from the glass?

Almost identical to mp40. Maybe a little more

People that have bought these still liking them? Debating adding another jebao gyre or trying one of these DMP40 pumps. The jebao seems nearly flawless, just thought it might be nice to have a different style pump in the tank.

I have ran Jeabo powerheads for years.
My DMP 20 is in my rs170 nem tank so 35g's.
Its been a month and its a nice pump, imo.
I ended up putting a Tunze 6105 cover to keeps the nems out.
Waiting for someone to print some.

They look great. I just read through another thread after some more searching that they're not really suitable for 3/4" glass. May have to stick to the jebao gyres for that reason. Although it also looks like jecod and jebao are the same company, so in theory the vortech clones are great.

I've cleaned all my pumps today, including a DMP 40 after a month of use. I think someone has mentioned the existence of a gap and a possible issue with debris getting inside .

I've opened it up completely and didn't find anything in there besides the typical bacterial film.

The DMP-40 easily works on 3/4.

They seem to work great, I have two of the 10's and they are running half power on my 40 cube. They do stick to my glass but the motor seems to "slump". I'm afraid this is going to cause premature failure but I can't seem to fix it. I feel like the only reason they are staying is the suction cups and not the magnets.

The motor only slumps if you don't zip tie to adhesive pad tightly.

Experiences are variable. Others have said they can’t get them to stay.
You need to zip tie to the pad . I've used the 40 on 1 inch. my guess is that if people are having issues on 3/4, then it's user error.

Maybe people could use the 3d printed mp brackets to support the motors
