Order placed. I can't wait to see what I get, although unfortunately I will have to ask Adam to delay shipping for a week or two because I am working long hours at work.

I want more pics too, I can't wait for mine to arrive!Morning bump so hopefully someone will post pictures of their corals from BC.
Yeah these pics are getting me excited for my pack in a few weeks.I want more pics too, I can't wait for mine to arrive!
Glad to hear this. Always good to get a little validation. I honestly still, don't understand the draw to live sales. Just an extreeemly unnecessary scramble to put a customer through.Amazing top notch corals!
I would just like to say that I am really happy Adam doesn't do live sales.
Most people who are married already run into serious issues getting the spouse onboard with a reef tank. The high cost, pervasive mess, and blue hue throughout the house are just some of the major causes.
Spending hours and hours online bidding on expensive corals would only cause more tension and I personally appreciate that I can get the best deals without resorting to spending my entire weekend waiting for a killer deal.
My frags & Battlebox are supposed to arrive on Tuesday and I can’t wait!
I don’t get the live sale thing either. It seems like some vendors only do the live sale thing, stock on their sites is slim. Too much for me, I would rather spend my time watching paint dry than endlessly clicking hoping to score a coral I like. No thanks, BattleCorals all the way!Glad to hear this. Always good to get a little validation. I honestly still, don't understand the draw to live sales. Just an extreeemly unnecessary scramble to put a customer through.
I have only participated in one live sale and I would probably do it again. My biggest issues with live sales is that you often have to make a instant decision if you want a coral or else it's gone. To start with I'm very indecisive to the point that I spent half a day trying to decide how any corals to pick for my battlebox, and after picking I'm still wondering if I should've gone lower....or higher. Having to quickly buy a coral also leads to people buying corals they they ultimately aren't capable of taking care of properly because they didn't have time to research it.Live sales are for the impatient type, which is counter intuitive to this hobby. We're lucky to have people like Adam who are willing and patient, and put in the time it takes for these animals to settle into captive conditions and fully acclimate to life in a glass box. You're paying for that expertise and the time it takes to make that happen.
This is a very good point too. The one I participated in was around 12 hours on Saturday and Sunday. I sat there refreshing my phone screen the entire time. My wife was furious with me for staring at my phone all weekend, but she didn't care about spending the money at least.Spending hours and hours online bidding on expensive corals would only cause more tension and I personally appreciate that I can get the best deals without resorting to spending my entire weekend waiting for a killer deal.
Nice! Dude, that's a wicked haul!
