Picked up a nice tabling acropora, and kudos to AquaSD for the fine piece. It's an Aussie Highlitghter table, and has a nice purple base with bright. The polyps are already out after an hour in tank. The piece is about 3"x4".

err, pardon the flasher haha

Nice pics, I really like where that clam is placed, looks awesome! What's up with what looks to be a Maxijet in the back right? It doesn't have a guard on the intake.. that would scare me silly! ;)

Very nice tank and some awesome corals. It looks like the Crocea is plenty happy at an angle like that. I might have to try something similar. Mine doesn't like to be as close as I have it to the Vortech.

The crocea is sitting flat on rock, it does appear to be at an angle lol.

Haha, Scooby is plenty small still for a 60g...He'll be moved at the appropriate time. Thanks for the comments!

Where is the Pink ******* frag at?! Tank looks great Kristof.
It's in the pic labled "Front right side" just up here, directly to the right of the superman. Thanks allot for it, it's growing well!

Those pesky tang police! To protect and serve. MAN, you have some coral collection!
I know right...haha it's not a 28g cube, I can get some slack. Thanks! I have my SPS thats for sure

I went up to LA with my boo this weekend and I was sure to stop in at Vivid Aquariums since I bought their pink tipped tabling acropora a week ago haha. Their store is sick, and very organized. The prices were also very good and their selection was ridiculous. You guys know I'm an acro fan, and I was blow away by what they had in stock and some at a very good price. I found a really nice red Aussie acropora spathulata for an amazing price. Here's a cool article on the spathulata from reefbuilders!

http://reefbuilders.com/2010/09/08/acropor...emic-australia/

The pink tipped yello acro looks amazingly similar to the cytherea I have in my mom's tank. They are both tabling in form with small verticle branches, and both are without a fused base. I'm 100% sure they are the same species. This one has really cool yellow-green polyps.

Both of these corals have potential to color up into ridiculous pieces. I'm excited.

nice pics
that labeled fts shot is a really cool idea - something like that would be great to remember names and date when you got it
