In February of 2018, we decided to replace our 16 year old gas generator and marine battery backup with a whole house generator. We have lost power for a few hours here and there over the past couple of years. The longest outage was 9 hours. The automatic switch to the Kohler generator has given us much peace of mind for sure.

How long have you had the Japanese swallowtail? I’ve been wanting one but are hard to find. Do you have a pair?
We have a trio - the male and 2 females. They've been with us since the summer of 2014. They are not as readily available as some of the other Genicanthus angels, but definitely worth waiting for.

We spent some time over the weekend moving a few of our corals/frags to better long term spots. Our A. solitaryensis has been with us since 2010 and has once again grown quite large. We moved it from the top left over to the right side of the tank at mid-level where it will get better light and flow, as well as, have a bit more room to grow.

We took a few pics after the moves and thought we'd share:

Couldn't resist a closeup of Big Daddy:

And of course, a picture update is not complete without one of our wrasses: Pseudojuloides splendens
