Hello,

we are working on our dream tank now for about 10 years and after moving from Germany to the US and finally got settled down, my husband ordered his custom made tank at Reef Savvy back in March 2020. But due to the pandemic, it's taking now much longer than expected. Right now the ETA for it will be January 2021, hopefully. But at least we received our sump this week, so exciting

Tank: 172 gal Reef Savvy, 60" x 28" x 24"

Sump: Royal Exclusiv, Eco Fleece Dreambox 100 cm x 60cm

Wave Maker: 2x Tunze Stream 3

Return pump: Royal Exclusiv Red Dragon 3 Speedy 100 Watt

Lightening: 2x ATI Straton

Aquascape: ATI EpoReef

Controller: Profilux 4e

Dosing: GHL Doser 2.1
Channel 1 will be used for ATO, other channels are TBD

Livestock: TBD

This will be a beauty. I commend you both in planning ahead which many fail to do.
Focus on vendors below who have a Black Friday sale of sales which ends Monday

Bulk Reef Supply
Marine Depot
Aqua Cave
Aquarium Specialties
Premium Aquatics
Pet Mountain

I say be patient. LOL!!!

Seriously though, be patient as having to wait gives you time to plan as much out as possible. I would recommend trying to figure out the plumbing, and then add several more fittings of each. Also, think of any possible additions you may want to add down the road. Do you want to add anything that can be run off of the return?

Keep reefing along, your tank will be here soon enough and you will be like me, ;Jawdrop, trying to get it all together as quickly as possible.

Yeah I was planning everything already so often but I am on a point where I would like to start putting everything together.
I have everything here just not the tank and the stand.
But because I have to travel to Germany soon I am thinking about starting the tank a little bit later after I made it back from there.

Finally got my tank. It took only 14 months . I ordered this weekend all the pvc piping parts and hope that I have some time next weekend.
Just for fun I put my “rocks” in the tank, not the final layout but I was waiting so long for it .

Oh no! That sucks. If you do want to sell it all, you can create a thread in the dry goods forum. I'm sure people will buy your equipment pretty quickly.

If you're holding onto the tank and stand. I would hold onto it all. That's some slick equipment you have. It will work just as good in 1-3 years

That stinks that you had to not finish it. I'm in south Charlotte and I'm the middle of a build as well. I have a Vliesfilter also and have been going back and forth with RE on getting a sump, the shipping is crazy expensive. Wild have been nice to have another RE tank close. by.
