I think anthias are the most consistently beautiful fish group. While there are lots of strikingly pretty angelfishes, there are also quite a few plain and ugly ones.

That’s a peppermint angelfish. Depending on what type of car you drive…it very well may cost more.OMG @revhtree - What is that gorgeous angel? And will it cost less than my car?

Today let's talk about those beautiful little swimmers that make up the elegant movement of our saltwater reef glass boxes of water! Otherwise known as saltwater fish! It is said that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" but I think as far as fish go we may be able to come to a consensus or at least a majority vote on this thing! So let's talk about it!
1. What ONE fish do you think is the MOST beautiful fish in the hobby?
2. What "types" of fish do you think are the overall most beautiful fish in the hobby? (Angels, Wrasse, Gobies, and so on etc?)

He likes to nibble on a certain smooth colony I have but it grows right back. The other 5 triggers don't even look at the corals. They are in a 90g that's being replaced by my new180g. Just planning the transfer all out.How do the clown triggers do in a reef tank? How big is your tank? I have a picasso and niger in my 180 gal. My picasso occasionally nibbles a coral but not much.
I voted Angelfish. They are colored beautifully and swim gracefully. Not on the list, and a close 2nd for me, are Triggerfish. Their colors are more subtle but they are beautiful fish.Happy Wednesday Reef Fam!

Did I hear someone say year round outdoor anthias pond on the east coast?
I always have liked Cherry Anthias - Sacura. Big, hardy and colorful!
They can also live from 60 to 80 degrees F.
