We’ll make a long story short. I used to have 7 fully running reef tanks in my last house. Had to move and sell everything. But eventually we have settled in our new house 4 years later and it’s time to have one tank ( not 7 this time). So we decided to go with a Red Sea 200xl. So went to the lfs (top shelf aquatics in Orlando) and proceeded to purchase what I needed.
Here is this the list of equipment that purchased and I wanted it all to be new.
Red Sea 200xl
Reef octopus regal 150s
Apex fusion with
Atk
Ldk with 3 leak detectors
Vdm
Breakout box
Eb8
Apex display screen
300w titanium heater
Vortec mp10qd
Vortec vectra s2
Vortec radion xr15 pro and the hanging bracket
Extra sensor to let me know when so and is near empty
And a wxm coming in the mail
2 bags of live sand
Marine pure biofilter media plate
Additional parts not from lfs
iPad mini with enclosed mounting wall bracket
Door switch and led lights
IKEA cabinet for all the controllers
Reef fans
I used to be a diy/Facebook market kinda of guy always looking for a deal. Nope not this time I wanted it to be perfect so as you can see I went all out this time. Will post pics of the build as I go.
