Why would 'Perfect' be a goal?

There ain't much in this world that reaches such a lofty height... My reef isn't one of them, but why should it be? Nothing else in my life, or my world, is perfect either.

My reef is healthy, the creatures therein are seemingly happy, fat, growing...

In my opinion, the tank is attractive, the level of maintenance I perform is about right for me, the level of automation about what I want it to be.

It's not perfect, not heading in the direction of perfection. Not my intent to make something perfect.

Am I happy with my reef? You bet!

The essence of being human is that one does not seek perfection. -George Orwell

In so much as the Ocean is perfect, and it is, it's always changing. Parts are coming alive, and parts are dying so much life in between. Just like my reef.
My reef really makes me appreciate life on this planet as a whole, from space we are just a little bubble eco.
Maybe some aliens will come save us with some automated dosing...
Or like the Titanic, the wealthy will be dancing with the orchestra while the rest of us fight for survival.

It was perfect for 6 years, then STN, beat it, then I bought some bad rock and had algae issues, and now they're almost gone.

Sorry for the run-on sentence. That's how I condensed it! After 2 years of setbacks I'm darn close to perfect again. It's still overflowing with coral despite the issues.

My reef has 13 of my favorite fish living in harmony with each other and beautiful soft swaying coral, and engaging inverts while only requiring about 15 minutes/week of maintenance from me.

Perfect I supposed is subjective but once I buy and calibrate some Dosing pumps to manage my water chemistry I'll be happy to entertain the thought of my system being perfected. I've finished my Flow, and my lighting, now I just need a Doser.

"Not even close" doing a rebuild and my best to stay patient. Finally added some sticks a few weeks back, bumped up nutrients but now managing some algae. Maturing a tank is a longgg process.

Simple QOTD here today and a CHALLENGE!

IN ONE SENTENCE! What does the PERFECT saltwater reef tank look like to you?

Get detailed but only use one sentence! How's the aquascape, what fish are swimming in it, how do the corals grow and flow? Use your imagination and tell us what a "perfect tank" looks like to you!

Rock work open with lots of caves, fish healthy and moving, corals growing and vibrant, Algea gone, parameters stable and nutrients low.
