Now before you burn me at the stake :s

I could only pick 2 as i use triton and rate dr.tim products. But i use household vinegar for carbon dosing and dont really buy into this additive stuff?

I dont even use three brands of liquid additives, always like to keep it simple. Just ESV two part and KZ coral vitalizer. Both have been in the business for decades and have excellent track records. Also an instant ocean guy if you couldnt guess hah

Well, I have only used around 3 additive brands as of now, so I will simply give my thoughts on all of them.

Brightwell Aquatics:
ChaetoGRO
MicroBacter7

Kent Marine:
PhytoPlex

Other (Instant Ocean):
BIO-Spira

Instant Ocean BIO-Spira had the most noticeable positive effects on my system (cycled my aquarium in about 2 weeks). MicroBacter7 helped with some potential nutrient spikes and ChaetoGRO helped to grow some brown macroalgae. I have not seen any effects with PhytoPlex, though I have used it only once so far.

Maybe I missed it, but where is BRS? Or is there 2 part not a liquid additive?

Where is Reef Moonshiners?

Edit - I see Rev addressed it a couple minutes before I posted

Brigthwell products are my go to for supplements.
My "other" vote is for the moonshiner additives
I used ESV for 2 part for years with great success. I use it to make corrections now that I run a calcium reactor.

For saltwater really only redsea and brightwell. I don't like branching out to multiple brands and prefer sticking to one or two since typically the products work best together. I also use Vibrant on one of my tanks.

For freshwater I'd rather not admit to all the little bottles of things I've bought over the year, but over time is become almost exclusively seachem.

Redsea AB+
Brightwell chaetogro
Kent iodine

I found the kent “iodine” a decade ago and its based on potassium and calcium iodide. Bought a half gallon and more on sale. (Dont know they still make it, or if its the same formula) I use it at just under half recommended dose. Have had a reef lobster molting every month for about that same decade. Triton tests come back decent too.

Well make the hard decision! :p
I did, bit I still feel guilty...
* Nyos product line
* Brightwell product line
* Fritz Aquatics (Monster 460)

I’ve also had really good success with the product lines from Seachem (Garlic Guard, Prime), Red Sea (ReefEnergy AB+) and Polyp Lab (Medic).
