Sunday October post. Can’t seem to get my frag to show its color. It’s encrusted a lot more since the September post, but not much height.

I am late posting these photos. I had a busy weekend and didn’t realize yesterday was the day to post photos. If I am out I understand.
I am struggling with this frag. I think it just had too much stress with the extra day in shipping and then it got knocked down by one of my snails about 2 days after I glued it in place. I had to do some super gluing to try and stop some stn on the frag tonight.
I have over 20 other frags doing very well growing and coloring up great so I don’t think it is my system. it is frustrating to see corals right next to it doing well and Anyway here are the photos I took.

I am open to any suggestions anyone might have. I have no idea what else I can do. I don’t want to change anything or overreact because this is the only coral not doing well. I haven’t changed anything and my alk is steady at 7.5-7.8. The only issue I have is bubble algae, but it doesn’t seem to bother anything.

Just an example of the kind of growth I am getting from other corals. This photo is my Ora Scripts which I posted back at the beginning of this thread around the 1rst of September

This is the same coral tonight

No doubt the extended shipping didn’t do it any favors. Do you use amino acids, like Brightwell coral amino? I can help with tissue regeneration, as the coral needs to do very little to ingest it. But go slow, and spot feed it when lights are out. Broadcast feeding will just fuel the bubble algae. I have saved frags in the past with super glue. And have pics to prove it. I feel for ya, and will keep my fingers crossed!!!

Thank you.
I have the worst luck when it comes to these type of competitions. I can have corals growing like weeds, but the minute I enter into a contest that coral will die. I am praying this one pulls through, but it isn’t looking good.

I was dosing very small amounts of acro power, but I stopped when the bubble algae became a problem. Maybe I will try to target this coral like you said. I did super glue all of the areas of tissue loss so we will see how it does.

Might post a separate thread, and access the collective knowledge of this forum.

Maybe I will. In my experience when only one coral is having issues it is best to just stay the course, unless it is a placement issue. The frag doesn’t look any worse this morning so there is still hope.

Sorry for the late post was out of town. Here is my October submission. Colors are starting to show. Getting some purple and pinks and starting to encrust nicely.

November submission.

My cellphone just doesn’t like to focus on it, but it is what it is.

Sunday post for November. I see a little more encrusting at the base but there's not much color other than blue and PE could be better. I'm still dealing with this algae outbreak, manually removing what I can and keeping nitrates/phosphates under control. New Triton ICP test going in this week so I can confirm minor/trace elements are in line.

Here is my November submission.
Getting more pinks as we move forward. Not much growth improvement. But starting to look great
