Best of luck to you and hopefully they do send you the parts you need. A replacement pump to buy would be nice as well. I'm curious to see how this skimmer performs and how the delivery goes lol.

I would hope your experience would be better than mine just because of the new ownership. I hope Mode didn’t just buy the name and keep the same people who worked there. They left me high and dry, had to get PayPal to intervene and eventually refund my money. Cadlights did sell the pump separately so hopefully Mode will as well.

Very easy to clean. Especially in comparison to the IM Ghost and the Aquamaxx NS1 I had before which were pretty much impossible to clean.

@TheWB Well.... funny you mentioned them leaving you high and dry. I ordered the PLS Elite II skimmer 2 days ago and even sent them an email yesterday asking about an order update or anything. I have not received any word from them. All they did was receive my money through PayPal, but they didn't send any kind of invoice email or anything. This is disappointing lol...

Sure hope you have good luck with this. I've got my eye on the same skimmer. I'm finally tired of trying to make the IM skimmer work adequately. Every time I think I've got it figured out the darn thing lets me down.

I’m sorry to hear that, I hope they are just a little busy but probably not. Nobody has answered my email from last week either. You’d think Mode would be better than Cadlights was but it’s probably the same chumps that were there before just getting their paycheck from a new owner. It’s a really good skimmer but you apparently have to fight your way through a lot of incompetence to get one.

It shouldn’t have to come to that. Good customer service just isn’t that hard. It’s really a choice and they are choosing to be bad at it. I hope you get your skimmer, I know you’ll like It.

Good news. I messaged Mode earlier today on FB and they replied back saying the skimmer had shipped out on Thurs. Kind of weird I never got a shipping confirmation email, and I even checked my spam folder. I am happy to hear it has shipped though! Let's hope it arrives in one piece lol.

Honestly I have no idea. The infestation is large and some of the aiptasia are also quite large. The Nudi’s may be getting some small ones that I can’t really notice or they could all be dead. Unless somehow I can see one working or there is a noticeable decline in numbers I’m going to assume they didn’t make it. I was very disappointed with how small they were. None were the 1/2 they were supposed to be.

Yeah, I have not had any luck so far with Berghia or Peppermint Shrimp. This last round of Nudis was 7. Before that I had tried 4. At this point I don’t know what to do. Hopefully they are still alive and slowly doing their job. Time will tell.

I got a response from Mode and they said it is $44.99 plus $7 shipping for a replacement pump. It only seems like you have to get in touch with them in order to purchase a replacement pump because it seems like they do not have it on the website.
