Picked up the framing lumber for the stand and canopy! Construction starts on Sunday!

I have always loved this “honeymoon” phase of an aquarium setup.

It’s all fun and games til the algae starts growing and the coral starts dying! ;)

It will help, how much depends on how well it seals the top of the tank.

Thanks! I hope it helps. My water station only holds 25-30 gallons. I’m hoping that’s enough to last a week.

Just a thought. Make a filter pad area for the return. If you ever see WWC they made it a flat area that filter pad lays right into. Saves time from filter socks and can buy in stock. Just pull it up toss it and lay the new one in.

Nice.....my next build will most definitely be something similar. I've seem to have fallen in love with the peninsula style. Good luck with the build, cheers.

I agree. you might want to pause, i know you are excited to get the tank wet and cycling. but now is the time to do it. even if it's just a few feet around the tank.

just an idea. once the tank up that carpet is there for good.
