Yep on my way to work on Nov 1st I saw a house that had lights put up already.
Same, lots of places I‘ve seen had Halloween lights that they repurposed for Christmas. A couple that I know about keep their lights up year round, just because.

That was me just cause I was too lazy to take down last year....
Which would be fine IMO as long as they don’t get turned on until after Thanksgiving. I have always wanted to put some of the permanent rgb led lights on my house but I’ve never got around to it. I find myself watching really cool videos of lights shows that people do with those lights.

I had our tree up for a full year . Yep, lazy.

Lol I got a closet just for the tree. Push it in there, drape plastic over it, and pull it out next year all decorated lol

My wife has made it a tradition that she and the kids decorate the tree, which is great because it means I don’t have to help. My only job is to drag it out of the attic.

Man I just spent sooooo much on actual equipment during Black Friday sales….

….But my brand new Radion G6s sure could use some nice showpieces underneath them for Christmas….

Haha time for the fun part then. At least for me I hate spending money on equipment it's so much more fun to spend it on the coral!

For me it’s a little bit of both. I’m kind of a tech geek as it is anyways, (Also heavily into gaming.) so moving into that high end luxury tier of reef equipment is definitely satisfying, but definitely the definition of a “Buy once cry once” situation as far as that initial price tag lol. But definitely will be more satisfying and beneficial for coral purchases moving forward.

Currently using
2 xr30(gen3)
8 36" knockoff(dimmable) orphek style bars
3 smatfarm
3 nicrews 150s
2 AI Hydra 32
4 noopsyches
4 ocean revive
3 long Viparspectra
2 short viparspectra
Kessil360
2 knockoff kessil 360
2 36" micmol led
2 very old noname blackbox
6 bulb t5 4' fixture

If I win the lotto someday I gonna get all the same type and make my life so much easier

The one time I wish I am in west coast time =P. It's almost midnight here in FL.

Can't go to sleep.....I mean who knows maybe the first 15 minutes is double the discount :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Wow, how many tanks do you have?
I splurged a year ago and upgraded the lights on my 125 tank from viparspectra to Noopsyche. My qt tank uses one of the old viparspectra lights, then my newest tank (new to me at least) uses the factory t5 lights.

I did buy an apex and all of the stuff that goes with it, but otherwise all of my equipment is cheaper brands or bought used for really good prices.

Right now I have a few tanks setup at small LFS I sell coral at so including those I got.

60g cube
3 40breeder
120g
60g frag (half height of standard 6' 120)
2 large vats (approximately 83"x35" each) (lots of the lights are here)
~90g frag tank(footprint of a standard 220 but much shorter)
3 36"x24" frag tanks
