This just popped up tonight

Any idea what this is? I'm stumped because of the color - it's dark purple. I would have immediately guessed aiptasia, but I only know them to be brown.

Feather-duster worm - and a very pretty one!

Harmless filter-feeders, unless you wind up with too many of 'em. (With that color ... it would take an awful lot to get to "too many"!)
