This looks like more than just gha?

So my back wall and rocks were covered in gha and then I've been battling cyano for over a month. I confirmed it was cyano (scope) and gha. I decided to use chemiclean and it worked out great. All of the cyano is gone. I noticed since I did the 20% w/c post chemiclean and restored gac/gfo that the hair algae started to melt away from the rocks but stayed on the back walls and small amounts on the rocks. Today I noticed what appears to be some sort of slime growing on the gha, mostly on the back wall. I was going to scope it tonight but any ideas?

I’m not sure about the slime, but I would do some manual removal and grab some turbo and trochus snails to help you out.

Agree with the comment above. I suspect Chemiclean killed the cyano so the PO4 that it was consuming is now available and GHA came to fill the void. You can try turbo or trochus snails, or even a lawnmower blenny.

you will also want to get PO4 down as if you remove the GHA with high levels, cyano will come back as something needs to consume the excess PO4.

But I am still new to this hobby so sharing only what I have learnt and experienced so far ...
