Ok just wanted to get your thought on a possible FOWLR tank and one fish that is on my list is the emp. angle fish. in an idea world tank would be 8' or more but wondering what you all think about long term with this fish in the 6foot 220?

IDK just a thought right now but I have been dreaming of a large FOWLR for some years.

it would be the largeest fish in the tank.

What’s “long-term”? At some point it will probably outgrow the tank and need a larger environment (either through you or rehoming). Definitely go with the smallest juvenile that you can find.

It's generally not a good idea to buy fish for a tank you don't have, particularly if it's a large tank. Life has a way of interfering with large, expensive plans.

I figured I would be good for 3-4 years but need to rehone at that time.

Thinking of a FOWLR in the near future hopefully
Don't worry I am not getting the fish for a tank I don't have. :)

Just getting all the verabiles worked out so I know what size of tank and option are.

You know research.
