After today….I have so much evidence to support my claims of coral spending to my wife. “But but but..:reef addictions and fenral list are bigger!”

My last order was 55 from SBB.
I ordered 32 from Zoanthids.com
The same day that one showed up I had two other orders come in for a total of 51.

Yeah I def am. Are you just dumping them all in a tub at one time to acclimate? Are you dipping them at all? I wouldn’t know how to handle that many at once.

Float for 30mins then start

SBB order I did torches and hammers first. Dipped everything in KCL and then iodine.

Then I did acans and gonis same dip method

Didnt dip shrooms just put em in the tank.

Sticks were last and they got the same dip as the torches

I just…I just think I need some time to mentally process all this. Between the order allotment since June, and this acclimation. I need to get off this site for a bit and really let all this sink in. Unreal! lol

It took me less time to dip and get everything in then it did my first go at 50+ corals

My mother-in-law asked me today how many I have in the 2 tanks. @Reefing_addiction got me started on the spreadsheet thing and I have 260+ varieties (some just a memory and some fragged, already)- since last summer. MOST sine June.

Yeah I def am. Are you just dumping them all in a tub at one time to acclimate? Are you dipping them at all? I wouldn’t know how to handle that many at once.

I follow the tidal Gardens suggestions and empty their water back into the Styrofoam case. Then add 1 cup of water every 5-10 mins while I'm opening others. The last cup, I mix in the dip before dumping in and then let them all sit for 30 minutes. THEN, depending on who the vendor is, I get out the reading glasses, flashlight, knife and toothbrush and check each one.

Hubby had to do it once and we almost missed a Spionid worm (new vendor- and last) that would have..... Urghhhh

Yup. Mines got 5 mouths. He’s pretty big. He’s a slob eating my snails…ugh I have to reload often

Question, going back to these beautiful buggers ... Would he have eaten my lobster? I'm HOPING He molted again and the shell just blew behind the elegance in the current. He's a fast and the elegance is not, so I can't see where he would have been caught....

@Tidal Gardens what do you think? Elegance over lobster?

BUT! I wouldn't have been ordering at ALL (much) if Hubby hadn't gotten the brilliant idea that we needed to replace the dining room table with a 500g show tank! (And then left me to run with it!)

I'm NOT just lining everything up... I'm out of holes in the rocks. The new tank is cycling....

Believe it or not, I don't think I have enough to fill the blessed thing (monstrosity)!

Idk that he would be able to mess with something that large. I had a cleaner shrimp and fire shrimp walk all over him without issue. The snails are just small and super slow. Once they get into his stingers...donezo.
