They seem to be alive in mine for months without doing anything. I think tiggers are actually better in a refugium as the young won't get eaten down there like they would in the display

in Indianapolis, i know pods ship well cold, as long as you reacclimate them slowly, just need to have the water well aerated prior to shipping
