The amount of copper in f/2 is extremely low (Copper (Cu) 0.0017% in Part A; none in Part B). Based on the dosing instructions (5ml of Part A per 10gal) the levels of copper involved should be too low to be within the danger zone for corals (which vary, but start around 10 ppb). I'm not great at these calculations, however, so I'll share this info and hope that someone more knowledgeable in the math than me can confirm that...

I’ve used miracle grow to feed my algae cultures periodically. I think it has way more copper and I have yet to experience any problems. I don’t feed it often, so I’m adding minimal copper to my tank. And doing regular water changes.
