I used the emarco 400, easy to work with, once cured is solid. I just posted my aquascape on another thread. Used quite a bit on branch mixed with Pukani and Shelf.
No, they are not aquarium safe. Especially marine. I used JB water weld and let dry overnight. I have it connecting 3 rocks at six points and used a small piece of rubble to blend them texture wise. They next day I couldn't break it apart when I tested the structure with ~ 100 pounds of weight. I pushed and pulled and twisted on it and had my 9yo stomp on it. The only thing I wish I did was use extra epoxy and cover it with rubble, the shaded stuff didn't change color with the rest of the rock and epoxy. But in my case I had a bunch of these Baggie ties around such as what you use at the grocery store lol. Here's my question would those be ok to use in a reef tank? Or basically are they aquarium safe?
