Just noticed these 3 photos same green birdsnest less just under 2 months apart from first to last photo! I wish I could get good enough photos of the ausie gold acro to show the growth like this. I got it from a buddy and it was just a chip off coral from his glass that he glued to a plug for me. My camera can't ever pick up the greens and purples in it just right.

Well to start off with some sad news this past Saturday the dog my wife and I got 10 years ago passed over the rainbow bridge. Its been a difficult week dealing with that. She survived 2 years after having her back leg amputated for osteocercoma. We got a lot of bonus time with her but this happened really suddenly. Karma was the best dog I've ever had, she's gonna be missed big time.

On to the tank.

Added a purple stylo to the tank today. I really like the growth pattern on this thing, its a really nice small colony. I have some more frags coming in the end of next week and ill update with what I get.

NEW STICKS!!! I will get another update up this afternoon with some better photos but I couldn't help showing off some of these frags I got in yesterday from @therman

By far the best packaged and best looking corals I've ever recieved in an online order. Everything looked happy as can be while still in the shipping bags! I'll be getting another order from Tim in the spring for sure, I would highly recommend anyone to go check out his collection.

Well a lot has been going on lately.
-Finished tiling the basement and fish "closet"
-Built a new sump to upgrade to out of a 40breeder
-Finally had the metric>standard unions become available again so I just put an order in so we can get the new sump hooked up by the end of the month.

Getting really excited to watch the progress on my reef in 2022! I'll get some more photos up after a water change later today. For now you will have to settle for a quick pick of the new sump.

Tile floor in the basement is finally complete!

Just gotta seal the grout lines today after work and patch up/waterproof the lower half of the drywall in the fish closet. Planning on getting the new sump plummed into the display this weekend.

Also picked up some more goodies last weekend. 2 ORA acros, not 100% sure on the names I think one is a frog skin and the other is a green fuzzy. They were starting to brown out a bit due to my LFS not putting them under high lighting and stress from a couple weeks in sub par conditions but I'm hoping to have them back in good shape soon. Also picked up an ORA breed veragated urchin to see if it would help with some of the Turf algae I've been dealing with.

Sorry for the sub par pic of the new acros. I haven't taken a photo of them yet with my lense filter so these are a little over exposed and blue.

Waterproofing the walls around new sump location. Dont mind the mess of wires. Put some drywall up and skinned it with FRP. Going to trim it with 3/4 x 4" pvc boards.
