I'm with Bubba, although I also have to have the Oregon Tort in any tank I own.

Ok, Ok... to the OT's defense... I'm assuming the post was meant for a daylight spectrum tank. This one looks super stunning in the tank. Sure it's a monotone-ish blue, but man that blue is something that stands out. And yes I love the polyps on my OT ;)

Don't forget OT has blue polyps definitely nice. HW, SCOP, and Jolt for my faves

When visitors see my tank most ask about these three as they stand out the most--

Red Planet
Navy Tort
ASD Rainbow Milli

My lighting is in that 14-20k viewing range.

If a coral doesn't stand out from 4 feet away it's not a show stopper.

A lot depends on your lighting............Windex LED tanks aren't going to appreciate purple and blue corals.

I would go with one stag, one table and one bushy coral of your choosing. Find your favorite colored piece in each category and enjoy the growth patterns each gives you. We could sit here and name names all day long but each person has their favorites, I can’t tell anyone what their favorites are. Choosing corals that contrast and stand out is going to be key if you only have three corals in the tank. Otherwise if you have a dull one that area won’t really draw anyone’s attention.

I agree that you have to hit growth form and color with each pick. I have to go with...

Fox flame. Nice contrasting tips/bushy growth/pink

Greg’s ultimate efflo. Purple/blue with green polyps and it’s an efflo so it’s definitely a table.

Green Slimer. I’m sorry. No tank is complete without a crazy green stag somewhere.

Assuming daylight, and not blue lighting....

Oregon Tort
Red Planet
Green Slimer

best visual pop and contrast if 3 corals is the limit (who are we kidding here). I could see swapping the OT for pink lemonade. Also gives the table, stag, bushy setup which @Pedoconfuego suggested.

ORA Pearlberry
Rainbow Mille

If I couldn't get a Pearlberry I would do an Ice Fire Echinata
