So what do you think? Will she turn?
At the minute she looks rather small (if I had to guess, around an inch). And may actually be a juvenile but she will turn eventually, you just need to wait for her to grow. I have found that wrasses begin to transition once they’re about half to three quarters of their max size.

OK, the waiting game continues. She is well over an inch, actually over 2 at this point. Great, I look forward to watching. What are the signs or what will be scene? (This is my first to transition).

Generally, you’ll begin to see some form of colour change. I have found the main body is first, then the tail changes last. You’ll most likely see a brighter colouration in the red face as the first big sign. However there are many smaller signs such as a slightly more aggressive behaviour that may die down once the wrasse is further into the transition phase.

What are the distinguishing characteristics of C. finifenmaa vs C. rubrisquamos? Are they as as aggressive as rubrisquamos?
I believe that where they’re collected from is the biggest distinguishing characteristic however the fins in Finifenmaa seem to be much more yellow towards the back whereas in rubriquamis it’s clear towards the back.

My Favorite Faries. Price does not seem to have anything to do with what fish I like. Lubbock fairy and Solon Fairy are quite stunning for a rock bottom price fish. The most beautiful, and show off his color all the time is the Blue Throat. Not recommended for small tank however. The Blue Throat, Naoko, and Solon are my favorite. It is all have to do with how active and how colorful they are in the tank.
