I honestly think that will be fun especially with the yoga mat the weight will compress it down as well as the plywood will get compressed as well you could always get some wood putt to build it up right there but what is a millimeter 1/32” or a 1/16 you’re fine. Nothing can be perfect

Ya the yoga mat will compress and such. Just fill half way monitor for the day then fill if all is good but I think you can fill. My stand slightly off like yours as well and it’s a 110 and I got a tank mat under it and sump and it’s been fine

Awesome. I'm holding all of my sisters work out gear until she finds a place to rent. She won't ever know where her yoga matt went

Looks like you used MDF instead of plywood?

Just be careful with water around it. Even the water resistant type will soak up water and swell pretty easily.

Edit: the uprights you added they don’t look very snug in there. Are they? Ideally you would’ve had to mallet them in a bit.

I am going to be adding 3 coats of paint and indoor water retardant to the top board. Also yes i had to hammer the boards in with a rubber mallet.

Sweet. For mine I used KILZ primer/sealer and the. Just put on an extra layer of exterior paint. I both of these over the entire frame inside the cabinet and where the tank sits.

Then I just got some 1/4” oak plywood to skin the outside and added cabinet doors and I made a floor on the inside for the sump so it wasn’t sitting lower than the edges. If you go that route you can caulk the gaps on the inside So water and humidity doesn’t seep down below the cabinet floor.

I used practically the same tank stand design you did for a 40 Breeder.

Barely fit a 20 long in as the sump.
