Our hobby and these collective positive changes are truly contributing to marine science, it’s a bunch of mini Noah’s arks we have here for corals of several genera

My 9 month old Torch did exactly the same thing early this week. Initially I thought it may have been stingers, but I hadn’t seen anything like that from it previously and it didn’t look like poop. Interesting to hear it was likely spawning. I’m sure my Tangs and Clowns polished it all off however.

Yeah, definately spawning. I have had my torch do that multiple times over the years. Unfortunately nothing ever came from it other than fish eating everything (although I never tried catching them like you did).
