Hi reefers,
another question regarding the torch coral. My torch coral is placed in on the sandbed and its grown so big that when fully open the tentacles touch the rock with the motion of the wave, he doesn't seem to mind it. Is it fine for the torch coral to be touching the rock or can it cause damage?

I had a very similar situation with my torch coral. I ended up moving it just in case.

It will be perfectly fine… mine stretches a good 8 in when fully open and rubs EVERYTHING in its path, including the alveopora in the rocks and the candy cane in the rocks.
