Heya guys lookin for some advice on my torch ive had him for about4 or 5 months and he's been great up until today the head on the left is pale and shriveled up, the mouth seems to be open a little too, i havent moved him recently and other than losing 1ppm in salinity a couple days ago from an ATO issue there have been no swings. Is it possible to help bring him back or is it too far gone? Thanks in advance!

Ammonia/nitrites: 0
Nitrates: 40ppm
Salinity 32.5ppm
ORP: 310-325
Temp 88.5-89
PH: 7.9 (about time to change the Co2 scrub media)
Alk:9.2
Calcium: 390
Phosphate: 0.3 (just put some media in hopefully it'll bring it down in the next few weeks)

Mine do that every now and then. Freaks me out every time but next day they are fine.

I like @homer1475 "poop theory". But I would say everybody might be a little happier with a bit higher salinity.

Agreed, I have my auto water changes going to slowly bring it to 35ppt in the next week or so.
"Poop theory" huh? I haven't witnessed a torch drop a log yet so maybe thats whats going on here, here's hoping!

Really? Never seen the coral poop of the year thread? Quite a few are euphyllia.
Poop of the year thread? I gotta find that one.

If there is a fish poop of the year thread I have a sure winner. My fat-a** orange shoulder tang can lay some serious pipe. I sometimes envy the guy.

It should be fine. My green hair mushrooms do that often, it could also be that it is still asleep.

Ya when I was first spot feeding my corals my hammers would let out a nice string 1-2 days after feeding if they got too much. Guessing your temp is a typo? Calcium could stand a little bump too.
