I got an indo gold torch about 2 or 3 months ago. Somehow overtime it’s start losing its gold color.
current parameter
Alk - 8.6
Mag 1290
Cal - 420
Po4- 0.09
No3- 15
Dosing ab+ reef energy starting 2 weeks ago, hoping to bring gold color back. Other that that all other torches are doing fine. Just one this particular torch that losing gold color. I heard some people like to blast them on high par to get get most coloration but I not not sure about that. Any advice everyone?
First pict was taken 2 months ago and the last one taken last week.

I see no problems with the parameters of your tank. What par are you keeping it at? I have my TSA Black Panther, aka NY Knicks torch in roughly 170-200 par, only because its in a SPS dominant tank, but I am sure it would like par in the 100 to 150 range max with a lot of the blue spectrum. I bought mine at Macna last year as a single head, now it is up to 8 heads, but it grew outwards and not upwards, and I believe its due to the higher par.

Not sure about par number since I never get par reading. It’s only been in my tank about 3 months now, I can see it started to split as well. Just don’t get it why it’s losing gold color
