Torch went from healthy to dying in less than 2 hours?

I have no idea what happened. I looked at the tank a few hours ago and the coral looked very happy.
Checking params now. Any help appreciated! Thanks!

NH3/NO2=0, NO3 ~0.2, pH 8.3, Temp 79 F, Salinity 1.025, KH 8.2, Calcium 430, Phosphate 0.02

Something interesting has happened as well.. it looks like the torch ejected a tentacle or other long stringy piece from in or near its mouth and it is now looking happier.

Also interesting, the things I assumed were pods are coming around it. Perhaps they're a pest? Has anyone else seen any such behaviour from their torch?

Mine does it after a good feeding of reef roids and then closes up for a while before opening the next day huge and then... poop...

They sure can! In fact, my lawnmower blenny follows his pooping tank mates around and eats it, and if my fox face has been eating a lot of nori, he turns around and eats his own! Circle of life, eh?
