But say!! you guys want to see the flyer for this thing??
Hey I’ma 90’s kid man I wasn’t in prime childhood when it came out, slightly before my time I wish I could’ve recalled the name but at least it gave him a once in a lifetime walkoff

I would love to hear from the reigning champs about their care and maintenance routines for these systems. The growth of the winning Acros are amazing. Can any of the winners share what their feeding routine looks like and if they incorporate live foods?
Here we go every detail I can think of about my tank.

330 display
90 sump
7 stage BRS RO/DI
lights black box, then two G5s and one 24 inch Reefbreedr this is repeated 3 times over my tank with black box at rear XR15 G5s in center and Reefbreeder at front except for middle it has another black box at the front.
Ive got about 12 wave makers, Jebao of different sizes 4 on the sides and 4 on the rear. all doing the random setting.
I used IO forever but just switched to tropic marin salt.
I dose Randys recipe for ALK and CAL about 300 ml each a day to keep alk around 8-9 and cal around 450 mg is around 1300
I add about a ounce of A and K tropic marin trace elements each day and dose Reef actif once a week. (2 of there scoops)
I DOS C also but often forget about it and the gallon jug will run dry.
I have no skimmer I removed it to keep my NITs up I have cheato and calerupa in the sump.
I try and feed roids and benepets once a week also. I give 2 scoops each of the little scooper that came with the reef roids.
I have a fish heavy tank and feed 5 cubes of mysis/brine a day and if I remember or have time ill come down at night and feed flake and pellets. (40 fish maybe ?)
My PH is normally 8-8.5
I have a trident set to monitor alk x2 a day and cal and mg once a day.
Just started doing water changes again as my ICP results have been outta whack but did do them once maybe every 6 months.
My contest frags were getting about 600 par about 4 hours a day then down to 450 the other 8,,,this is from memory so might be off on times but thats close. If you go back through the fall grow out contest I did post my PAR readings at one point. I use Parwise.

Ready to see what this “new unreleased gem” is brought out for y’all I bet it’s sick, Y’all were talking about naming it earlier in the thread and tying it up with tournament of champions but “a new unreleased gem” just name it that? Also, for a future contest how about cricket spine? Just saying..

it's a fresh off the boat brown stick. the game is twofold: don't kill it and see what colors you can pull out.
Coming from experience this only worked out twice for me, out of…. Who knows lol

but it worked. I'm not even bold enough to try. also since I've got roughly 75% kill rate (I'm blaming the efflo on UPS) on BC grow outs, the "brown stick" challenge is one I'd lose before I begin.

Defiantly amazing to watch them change into something from nothing! But very difficult to say the least. My kill rate has to be in the same ball park for sure!

No sir. Not a finicky coral at all. In fact I don’t think finicky or slow growing is ever going to happen again for contests.

Way more exciting with fast growing and forgiving. Our champs will have some serious colonies by the end of this one!

I believe it’s going to be epic. Same goes for the Poletti:)
