Where is everybody?
Who won the Diesel shirt?
Sorry but I'm in 3 Christmas parties at the same time as I got invited at the last moment to the Tx Rangers Christmas Ball.

Lasse went to sleep, so everyone else went out to play.

Looks like I won the shirt. [emoji1]

Great cause again David @revhtree
Donation is coming.

And same as last year I auction off a R2R shirt autographed by the Diesel.
This time it's "The Reeflife" shirt.
Who doesn't want a reeflife shirt and it's for a good cause.
IMG_3119.JPG
IMG_3120.JPG

Auction starts at $25.
Increments by $5.
Auction due 12/15/2017 10pm Central time zone.
Shipped free to you!
The winner will donate the highest bit directly into the gofundme of this cause.
Send me a PM with confirmation and I'll mail you The Reeflife shirt autographed by the Diesel.
So, after a great amount of deliberating with myself, and although the idea of owning this very beautiful one of a kind shirt is very appealing to me, the do good for others side of me won out.

Since the target amount of $10,000 has not yet been reached, although it is close with $9225 raised at the time of this post...

I have decided to reopen the auction for the shirt that Diesel originally posted in his auction.

However, instead of just bidding on the shirt, you MUST make the donation in the amount of your bid at the time of your bid. In other words, put your money where your mouth is. (PM your donation confirmation to me). I will ask Diesel to send the shirt to the winner at his earliest convenience.

The Rules of My Game:
Bidding Starts at $100, $25 increments after that
Donation Required at Time of Bid
Auction ends at 5:00 pm Central Time, Saturday 16 December 2017

Remember, I gain absolutely nothing from this, other than that warm fuzzy feeling knowing I personally did everything I possibly could to help underprivileged kids have a very Merry Christmas!

I´ll donate $25 more in honour to the first non-Swede who can tell which Swedish Christmas tradition is among the latest - but probably the most popular (beside the Christmas gifts) – tip – It´s connected in some way to the US and most of you not believe its true

Sincerely Lasse

Wise words spoken.
I must say that this will be the first year if we don't make the target.
Who are we as a R2R family to let that happen?
Ask your self.......
Am I sure about what matters most?
Did I make a difference today?
Was I kind to someone else without expecting anything in return?
Did I laugh today?
Will I be a model of excellence?
What will I do differently tomorrow?
There are a few more from
Jeff Conley's quotes but just ask yourself.......
Many times I go through every day life asking myself this question,

"What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?"

Nobody is take a knee here to beg more like to pray and I somehow we as R2R will pull it through.
Many know me to make sure we reach target, and I never missed.
Many fundraisers I was the rudolf to lead the way this time I was slacking due to a rollover recovery while hunting during thanksgiving, yes I became the hunted for 4 hrs
Also many know me about my awesome coral packs I donated for this cause.
Since I dropped all SPS to make life easier to myself I have not much to offer.
But...... I ain't the Diesel if I make a last effort to make the goal of 100 franklins solid.
As the shirt is back up to reach goal.

Now Y'all have a swell day as me and Frosty driving to the Northpole as work has to be done.

You know already that you going to drop that $25 in the gofundme my friend.
Europe wasn't that big with gifts on Christmas when I grew up.
The gifts all came along in the 80's because of the American tradition.
Christmas in old Europe as I remember was about joy for the kids and food.
I remember the two day of food fest in many countries I stayed for Christmas.
It was a live tree, snacks around the table before dinner, playing games, making a snowman or ten and the famous snowball fights.
Coming back inside hanging by the fireplace drinking hot coco and for the adults a add on to that ;)
Doing some ice skating on the frozen canals or ponds and I remember we went sometimes up to 100 miles on the frozen canals and creeks in Holland.
I say it's the tradition of celebration the joy of Christ with the children, gathering around the dinner table for a good meal and for the Swedish adults some Glögg :p

The Swedes were the first to have "Elf on the Shelf, " with the exception that the Swedish elf lives under the floorboards during the year....and you call him Tomte. He comes out on Christmas Eve, handing out presents.

I also found this great video from 1940, of Christmas in Sweden. I think I saw Lasse when he was a little Swede!. :D

You cost me $25 - 3:00 o´clock PM every Christmas Eve since 1961 - its Donald Duck time. They try to change it some years ago - we got nearly back to 1917 and the hunger riots :)
