It's Christmas time again and we are excited to announce our annual Toys For Kids Drive!

It's that time of year for giving and our members at www.reef2reef.com love to give! If you are a seasoned veteran of REEF2REEF then you know we help unfortunate children get gifts, clothing and food at Christmas time. Every Christmas for the past 15 years we have had a toy donation drive and every year the members of R2R and the reefing community step up and give to make Christmas dreams come true! Last year alone we raised over $20,000 for toys, clothes, food & necessities for kids and their families all over the world!

Being a pastor of a local church in my community gives us the platform to not only see the need around us but to be able to do something about it! We are able to make sure that all families are in need and that the kids really wouldn't have much for Christmas otherwise. We are able to buy all the gifts with no taxes because we are a non-profit at the church. That saves us hundreds of dollars every year.

We are once again partnering with local, national and international organizations like Grace Alive Church and The Awakening Church to help us disperse gifts, food, clothing and necessities to kids and families all over the world.

Will you help us reach our goal this year? We can do it! There is nothing that makes you feel better than to give to someone in need. All the proceed go directly to the Toy Drive!

I just wanted to give a testimonial about this toy drive.

Christmas can be the most joyful time of the year for some, but for others, it can bring stress and hardship and remind them of the things in life that they don't have. There is a lot of hurt in the world; maybe some of us can relate to that. And I know we can't fix all that hurt, but we can try. We, the R2R community, have an opportunity to help alleviate some of the burden and bring joy back to this season.

I have been lucky to be part of this drive since its beginning, and @Gumbies R Us has been a part of it for the last seven years. I can promise you that every dollar raised during this event goes to making Christmas brighter for children in need. Your donations go to providing Christmas gifts, dinners, clothing, and necessities to orphanages and children's homes inside and outside of the United States, as well as to impoverished communities and families that don't have the financial means to have Christmas.

Maybe you don't have much you can spare, and maybe you think your 50 cents or 1$ or however much it won't make a difference, but it does!!! Every dollar, down to the last cent, matters. And because of one generous member, your $1 turns into $2, and your $5 turns into $10 because this member is doubling the donations up to $10,000!!! If you can only give a few dollars, THANK YOU! If you can give more, THANK YOU! I can't emphasize enough that whatever you give will be good enough because whatever you give will be given back to children and families that need to know that people do care about them.

And great point! This is a time of year when I'm getting stretched in every direction lol! Certainly, I wanted to help the kids, as I did last year. It's really nice to think that my modest donation will be doubled, that's fantastic!

Much resect to whomever this mystery supporter is, but it's making all of our donation go twice as far. Awesome stuff!
