I’ve had this trachy in my tank for about two - three weeks now everything’s been fine. However the last few mornings I wake up and there’s usually two or three spots or some of the mesentery filaments are out. There’s literally nothing within range of this coral that could touch it.

Any ideas?

thoughts of what it could be:

Chemical warfare with something else in the tank even though it’s out of reach?

hermit crabs?

Bristle worms?

they do this when you have bacteria/dino healthy coral defending itself
