Translucent thing!

So I recently discovered these things, what are they? Do I need to worry about them? They’re tucked into the rocky caves and dangle like stalactites. They’re soft and move with the current but don’t seem to move much on their own and don’t retract when touched.

I have a 20 long mixed reef with 2 clowns, it’s about 1.5 years old. No recent additions that I know of outside of some snails from reefcleaners a couple months ago.

I’ve recently come through a battle with GHA and stopped using Vibrant about 3 weeks ago.

Sponges. No worries.

they are sponges.

harmless but can grow excessively.
