I treated him 30 days with CP at 80mg/g
he has been in observation tank for one month and a half and he looks fine.
the thing is that he never showed signs of velvet and all other fish that were is same tank died

I don´t know if it is possible to have inmunity to velvet and he will never show symtoms even if he has it?
not sure If I need to place a second fish with him in the observation tank to be sure he has been cured before moving him to my dt?

or maybe I just need to keep him in observation for more time??

please let me know what you think

thanks

Even if he looks completely cured, you need to let your display tank sit fishless for 6 weeks before you put him, or any other fish back in or the velvet is just going to come back. You need to let it die out in your display tank first, and without a fish host it'll die off :) did you treat him for 30 days and observe a month and a half or was the 30 days included in the month and a half?

Yes dt was fishless for 6 weeks.
I treated 30.days with CP, after that I have observed him for month and a half in observation tank

You should be good then. If he has been out of treatment for 45 days and no signs, you should be all clear!

Yep, the black molly test is a great and easy way to test if your fish are disease free.
