@ReefSlice - I actually have acrylic panels that will enclose the entire stand to where the aluminum supports are not visible.
Since I don't have a fish-room all of my equipment needs to be under the stand.

In order to build a floor for the sump I cut and notched out a piece of 1/2" Sanded plywood that was also Kilz'ed to ensure that it won't suffer water damage. On-top of that sanded ply is another piece of 1/2" polystyrene foam similar to what is under the tank.

As promised everyone here is a close up of what went into making my tank and all of its features!

Decided against full hard plumbing due to some tight turns and constraints. Flex PVC to the rescue!
