Some people over at ultimatereef have had success removing tin from their systems using ATI phosphate stop AL. It's an aluminium-based phosphate remover that resembles Tritons phosphate remover. The trick is to only leave it in your system for 24 hours, then remove it. Otherwise, the metals leach back out into the water column and it acts as a normal phosphate remover.
I'm curious if the Triton based phosphate remover could theoretically perform the same action.
