Hey recieved my Triton results today and tin levels are reading 7.23, Nearly all of my corals are now not opening for the past week or so, could the elevated tin levels be the cause?

The ICP report will tell you what the possible sources are. However this is a very common result in tanks that are new. Believe it or not the glass will leach tin into a system. If it’s a new tank just keep doing water changes and it will lower. Just to be sure look for any metal that could be in the water.

This is my system and I’m not worried. I had to replace my tank due to a seam failure so it will come back down in due course.

My tank is over 5 years old now which is what has stumped me as I've never had a reading of tin before, ive checked things like the magnets on my flow pumps too and all seems fine.

Would have been nice if you had that to your original post. ;)

Have your RODI water and or fresh salt mix tested to make sure you aren't importing it.

I would start tearing each mechanical item apart one at a time till I found it. I'm going to bet it's likely a magnet on something that is now exposed to the water. Check areas that are hidden, overflow, sump dosing tube holders.
