Hey reefers!
I just got my first ICP-OES results but wanted to know everyone's opinion on my ICP-OES analysis and recommendations.... Enough to be concerned over?

We have detected a lack of boron.
We have detected a lack of iodine.
We have detected a lack of sulphur.
We have detected a lack of molybdenum.
We have detected a lack of vanadium.
We have detected a lack of manganese.
We have detected a lack of zinc.

Did you send them fresh water by mistake? The lack of sulfur, no sulfate for example, suggests something weird about your sample. What is the sodium and chloride numbers?

Analysis Setpoint
(Na) Sodium 10730.00 mg/l 10000 - 11300 mg/l
Actual numbers are needed.

I think lack just means low, as they use the term, not totally missing.

Here is a shareable link of my results. ICP-OES

The sulfur/sulfate is fine, IMO.

Boon/borate is a bit low, but I do not think it very important. Doesn't hurt to dose it though (borax works).

I never found dosing iodine was useful, but its a bit low and you might experiment with it since some folks think it useful.

You might (or might not) benefit for a trace metal supplement to cover the others you mention since they are undetectable).

Not that bad of analysis! Wouldn't worry about iodine. It is still detectable. Would consider dosing some of the missing trace elements, especially manganese and molybdenum. Those are pretty essential for happy corals, lps and soft in particular.
