Trying to exercise patience with Diatoms... Talk me off the ledge, please!

Had this happen to me...was at my wit's end (not a long trip) after weeks of diatoms and about to do something drastic like H2O2. Someone here talked me off the ledge... probably find the thread. Told me to be patient, they will go away. Remember the tank goes at its speed, not yours.

Week later it was better, week more they were mostly gone and so far never to return.

Now if I can just clear up this GHA. It's always something.

Relax. Breathe in and out. It's fine or will be.

Speaking of beer...do a search for adding yeast to get rid of diatoms. I did not go this route

When I was researching getting rid of diatoms where you come across threads where ppl wish they could have diatoms back to feed the fish
