Thank you. I bought some like a month ago. Weren't open. Big mistake, weren't healthy.
If you buy just make sure all polyps are open before buying.

By the way, installed sulfur denitrator to test tank, today. Before sd, no3 were 20-30ppm. In 1 week or less,will be down to zero. But will adjust , so no3 are 5-10ppm

Could you try calurpa and let it go sexual for more food source? What about phyto in the water for food and cleaning the water?

I picked up a sad looking sun coral for $6. It had some tentacles out, so I have high hopes

That's really good price. Some open, good start. I use a pipette, feed thru day, when home. And have dosing pump feed some.

Can you try linking it again? Today I tried moving it into a Tupperware then melted mysis over it. I used a syringe and tweezers to push the mysis wherever I see orange. We will see what happens. I think the stress of moving it may not help things, but hopefully some of the mysis falls into the mouth. I'm thinking to try this twice a day. Do you think they'd like finer food too?

I have marine fish food, it's ground up whole fish, comes in very small pallets. I use pedestal & mortar, grind fine and serve like reefroid video.

You might need to have coral like a goldfish. Seperate, change some water at times.

Like the saying goes "Rome wasn't built in a day". Who knows when dendronephthya and Scleronephthya will be aquacultured. But it will happen. Just don't know when.
