Looking good. I'm currently in the market for a triton style sump. What is the volume of the fuge area?

These look awesome! I'm ready to buy one of these today if you have one that fits in a Reefer 425xl's space.

I'm in the boro as well! The current stock sump is 27.5" (L)x 20" (W) x 16.5" (H). The drains are to the right and the return pump to the left.

Are prices the same as the current 44 sumps?

I ordered mine Friday, This will be my 3rd Synergy Sump, they are even switching the return side so I don't have to re plumb overflows.
Now the waiting begins. I guess that means I'm going to have tidy these vortech wires.....

The baffle design is not correct. Water leaving the skimmer chamber is to drain from the bottom.

Then you would not be able to keep a constant water level inside the skimmer chamber. This would make The skimmer impossible to stay constant. Even if you did it with an auto top off it still would fluctuate.

If you look at the baffle designs Esahn put out, you'll see that your assumption is incorrect. You can still make a baffle design that pulls water from the bottom of the skimmer chamber and allows for a static water level, then ours into the dynamic level of the return chamber. Even a casual search on reef2reef will show you simple solutions to this. Here is my happy hour napkin drawing. I do expect royalties going forward.
