However every time we do this the site is overload and restarts the server. There for we are going to scratch the idea of different batches and release all the corals by 3:30pm. We dont have a specific time they will be available but will be within the hour.

Sounds like you need to implement a captcha or other ani-bot device. Maybe refuse to ship to the suspected sniper.

Correct with one large drop it won't let any of the bots set up for certain times snipe all the cheap corals so everyone will have an equal chance
