Looking great!!! Is this at the farm or the shop. I remember you all telling me the old frag tank section was going to be torn down and the shop expanded.

This is at the new farm. The old farm that was attached to the store is just about gone. Once it is totally cleared out then the store expansion will begin. A lot of big things coming!

You all need to buy out the bank, or whatever it was of the right side of you to expand. ;)

Two questions quickly if you don’t mind

1. Who do you buy your tanks from they look very well built and extremely clean lines obviously someone you trust and that does an amazing job?

2. I cant imagine you would chance not having a generator or back up of some kind I lived through Hurrican Andrew and several others. A direct hit can knock power out for days or even weeks what’s the system redundancy for a power failure in a system that big I can only imagine what size generator you would need.

We have our own custom tank builder who does all of our tank work for us. If you are ever looking for a tank feel free to reach out we may be able to help. His work is second to none! And being in Florida we have had to deal with our fair share of power outages. We do have a number of smaller generators to keep everything going, but stay tuned because we definitely have something in the works so we won't have to run small individual ones any more ;)

That is an update for another day :)
All the fish that go into the farm systems get copper as well as other medications for a minimum of a month before going into these systems.
I would have to check with the farm staff to be more exact

Alright guys, I know we definitely wait to long in between these updates, but there's always so much going on around here it's hard to keep up haha. Here's a little bit about where we are right now...

The tanks that we showed a few posts ago are rocking and rolling at this point. They are jam packed full of corals and are doing great! We had a little bit of algae when they first cycled, but glad to say everything has cleared up at this point. We even have one of the sump chambers starting to get filled up with corals. Have to make use of every bit of space!

Next is we have officially moved all the tanks from our old farm to our new facility. It was definitely not easy and the farm guys put in a ton of work to get it done. Thankfully all the hard work paid off and we can proudly say that everything was moved over successfully with zero losses. Those tanks have all settled right back in and are churning out corals as always!

Now most recently have have gotten our five newest tanks. This will be an all new coral isle we are hoping to have set up here in the next few weeks. Tanks are massive and very heavy, but we got them all set in place for the most part. We are still waiting for the sumps to be finished up and then will come all the fun of plumbing them, but definitely no challenge is to big! We look forward to getting these monsters up and running to get them churning out more corals for everyone!

We'll be sure to post updates as these new tanks get set up so that everyone can see all the progress. Let us know if there's any questions or just drop us a comment letting us know that you guys think!

This is our farm. The retail store and the farm are at different locations.
Next time you're around ask any of the employees to check it out :)
