Recently bought this..
200044-1-4-inch-bulkhead-tank-adapter.jpg

Now my question is.. What airline tubing size to do need to stick into the top?

I bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002563MW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but when I stick it in it slides out easily...

These adapters are meant for RODI tubing and not airline tubing. They will not seal or grip properly to airline tubing because it is soft and not rigid:)

Also there are two different sizes of these fittings 1/4" and 3/8" so that could be an issue as well.

For what it’s worth, I’ve used both the polyethylene (hard RODI style) tubing and vinyl (soft airline style) tubing with these push lock connectors. Neither has had issues even under pressure application. As long as the outer diameter is correct and you push it in deep enough to seal then you should be fine.

In the video what Randy calls dosing lines are actually RODI tubes. The clear tubing inside the dosing containers is Rigid 1/4" acrylic tubing :)

All of these parts are included in there Kalkwasser Drip Kit

Well looks like I just wasted money. I bought a Jeabeo Doser and now im scared to use it

Should I maybe glue it?

The amazon link you posted is 3/16 inch tubing and I believe the push lock connector you have is meant for 1/4 inch tubing. I believe that’s your problem.

Good catch @Brett S That's definitely the issue at hand.

They do sell 1/4 inch tubing in both the soft vinyl and the hard polyethylene varieties at Home Depot and Lowes, so you can probably just pick some up locally tomorrow if you don’t want to wait for amazon to ship something.

Now... Will that fit on the Jabeo doser head...?

I'm not entirely sure either. My GHL takes 1/4" as well though so I'm willing to bet it should...

Well this is mildly annoying...
Unfortunately I’ve never seen a jabeo doser in person, so I can’t answer with authority, but I believe that 1/4 is pretty standard for dosers. That is what I use for my Neptune DOS’s.

Maybe someone will know

1/4" poly tubing used for water lines for ice makers is what you want to use. I use the poly tube on my GHL dosers I have 6 of them. The fittings on a Jabeo are the same size.
