I wasn't sure if these were classified as a soft coral or an LPS so I put the thread in here.
Anyone currently keeping one or have kept one in the past? I'm looking for some corals to fill up the back corners of my reef and I like the look of these. Are they hard to care for? What kind of tank conditions do they like?

I have one in my tank, it in the middle. It's one of the easiest corals in my tank to care for. Doesn't need much flow or light.

actually, i think it may be classified in sps

i kept one years ago in my nano, look pretty cool IMO.

but they grow just like sps, have a calcerous skeleton. only probs i've heard with them is that the centers/insides can die out if they dont get enough flow/light. so you have to kinda keep an eye on how thick it gets maybe.

I think Tubipora are similar to blue ridge corals in that they have solid skeletons, but are classified as hydrocorals (not positive on that, but think that's what I remember). I've had several varieties of pipe organs and all have done well (small polyped, medium polyped, and large polyped varieties). All seemed to do well anywhere I put them. The largest polyped neon greens I've got don't mind being completely blasted by MH and flow, either (they do fine in low light and flow, as well).
