Tunze 9004 in a IM Nuvo Fusion 30/40gal

Just throwing it out to the community. Will a Tunze 9004 fit in the IM Nuvo Fusion 40. Looking at the dimensions on both it should but will the small spillway need to be cut out. I currently have a Tunze 9001 still boxed and am trying to find information to see if the 9004 will fit as it is sized better for my 40 gal.
