And here is mine. Superman monti that I got back in June that was just the size of the frag disc. As you can see it seems to be doing fine growth wise as it's plated out past the disc itself but the color went away and has never come back no matter where I move it in the tank or what lighting I use (tried LEDs PCs with LED supplement and have been with T5 for over a month).

Got this purple cap colony a few months back. After putting into my tank, it slowly started dying I guess you could say. Pieces were browning out, heck, it wasn't even purple anymore. BUT it was still growing at an awesome rate! Truly an eyesore in the tank, but I stuck with it and I'm glad I did, 100% recovery today :)

"I was such a brilliant green at the lfs under those big MHs, then this noob stuck me under these LEDs before he knew what he was doing and now look at me," said brown coral. Still has the best polyp extension in the tank.

(Not exact picture but closest to the color that "it was" on eBay)
And here's what it has looked like since I recieved it about 6 months ago.

It's in the top left. And hasn't changed color at all.
Needless to say that was he last time I bought something from that seller...

Talk about WHAT!?!? You See Is What You Get" LOL

Here's my brown gold. I saw this on eBay and it looked like it had a hint of purple and seemed real nice. I was fairly new with corals and it was a great price with nice color (so I thought). I never thought with a name like Poo-Poo Paly that it would actually look like....well, poo. Lucky for me it looks better then most my other zoas and palys  It would be horrible if my Rastas looked this nice.

Very nice name...A true trend setter...! LOL

Here's my "orange" hammer...I was at my LFS, this thing indeed looked pretty orange..I figured maybe it would look better under some cooler lighting, so I asked the shop owner to hold it for me until I could pick it up...no big deal, I do that semi-regularly with him. I come back probably more than two weeks later to FINALLY pick it up, and this is what it looks like. I just couldn't bring myself to say never mind when I had made him wait for so long..so I ended up with this lol.

Too long, didn't read: took too long to pick up coral I had held. Too nice to complain.

Well, you know what they say about nice guys finishing last...Although this one could put you in contention...LOL

And, yet, people still say that you can't grow SPS under LEDs...nonsense!:eek:hwell:

Nothing is ever wasted in reef keeping...I mean, it's "earth tone" compliments the rich colors of cyan so well...

Here is a frag of Tyree Pink Lemonade (believe it or not) I forgot about in the back of my display earlier this year.
